Term	Meaning
Tenant / Workspace / Organization	The isolated business environment that owns a team’s projects, billing, and members (used interchangeably in the app)
Institution	A workspace created via the Institution account type, with its own setup flow and institution-specific settings layered on the same workspace/project model
Owner	The workspace/project role with full control, including deletion and ownership transfer
Admin	The workspace/project role that can manage members and content, but cannot create another Admin
Member	A standard contributor role on a project
Guest	The most restricted workspace/project role; can view but not create/edit/delete
PICO	Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome — the structured research-question framework used in the PICO Builder
Study Design	A cataloged research methodology (e.g., “Prospective cohort”) a project selects during its research setup journey
Research Setup Journey	The project Overview tab’s guided checklist: define the research question (PICO), select a study design, link a conference
Conference / Submission Target	A cataloged event a project can link to as a submission target
Onboarding Complete	The workspace setup step that must finish before every other screen becomes available
